APOSTROPHE:
Dead Author's Festival Poster
Experimental Typography
Crafting an expressive, asymmetrical, and abstract poster for the Dead Author's Festival 2024 posed a unique challenge: using only typography to integrate, balance, and exploit the three primary elements—expressiveness, asymmetry, and abstraction. Drawing inspiration from Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird," I focused on the author's initials and a poignant quote to convey the essence of her writing. Through strategic placement and innovative typographic techniques, the poster aimed to captivate viewers while celebrating Lee's literary legacy and the festival's spirit.
